Advancing African Fashion. Preserving Heritage. Protecting Culture.
Education, Resources, Research & Market Access

African Fashion
Fashion Law, Business and Policy.
TFLAS is dedicated to addressing the disparities affecting the African fashion industry, including the lack of resources and access to information for African brands and designers, as well as the insufficient protection of African designs, intellectual property, and cultural heritage.
We advance this mission by providing educational resources, hosting summits, facilitating meaningful conversations, leading workshops, conducting research, organizing showrooms and trunk shows that create market access, and monitoring and advocating for stronger policies. We also offer free legal and business consulting to empower African designers, protect their work, and ensure African creativity and culture are recognized, valued, and advanced on the global stage.
