Office Hours has been launched in collaboration with the Fashion Law Institute to help black brands and designers navigate the complexities of operating a fashion business.

Our mission is to make legal and business resources more accessible 


 

1 / Fashion Law Pro-bono Clinic

One on one session with a fashion law attorney to address legal challenges. 

2 / Business Mentorship

One-on-one consultation with a business specialist to discuss business issues specific to their brand or to gain guidance. 

3 / 5 Brands

8 brands will be selected for each round.

What is Office
Hours?

Office Hours has been launched in collaboration with the Fashion Law Institute, an initiative that will offer free legal and business advice to African brands and designers. Five brands will be selected to take part in a pro-bono Fashion Law Pop-up clinic and a one-on-one Business mentoring session.

About the Fashion Law Institute

​

The Fashion Law Institute is the world’s first center dedicated to law and the business of fashion based at Fordham School of Law in New York City. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created with the generous support and advice of the Council of Fashion Designers of America and its president, Diane von Furstenberg, the Institute offers training for the fashion lawyers, business professionals, and designers of the future; provides legal services for design students and professionals; and provides thought leadership and practical assistance on issues facing the fashion industry.
